There are many healing natural miners springs in Jamaica...There are 2 in Port Antonio, Nanny Falls in Moortown and Bath springs in St. Thomas. I visited the Bath Springs, this fairly old hotel has the feel of a guesthouse with baths inside the hotel and water piped directly from the springs into the Jacuzzis and baths, this option is a bit more private.. The water is slightly less heated, or you can go outside and go with one of the locals who act as guides and offer massage for a fee.. it's a 100-yard hike to bathe directly from the source (so worth the hike).. Be sure to have your price set in your head, it will indeed be a memorable off the beaten path experience. I did it with a local, (they license themselves as massage therapist) LOL
The mineral springs were originally discovered in 1747 by the maroons, then the British built a hospital in 1749 at the location to use the hot mineralized water for healing
many of the locals bring their families here weekly to dip in the waters and get hot water massages.

On our way to Bath Springs, we passed by an old Sugar Cane Field, which was worked by slaves, who were forced to work long and extremely brutal hours...This field was at least 20 NYC blocks and 3 NYC avenues wide..
Port Antonio has some BEAUTIFUL beaches.. I visited at least 3
1st beach is Frenchman's Cove beach
I was there at the right time, to see wildlife conservationist release newly hatched sea turtles out to the ocean... At this beach, they also have natural spring waters that come from the mountain out to the beach. You have to walk through the beautiful gardens with huge 1000 years old trees to get to the beach. There is a $10 dollar fee for this beach.. You can also rent beach chairs and there is a cafe on the beach, should you get hungry or thirst.

This is the natural spring water that is to the left side of the beach that flows right into the ocean waters

2nd visited beach was Blue Lagoon Beach
Blue Lagoon is Jamaica’s largest lagoon, it's a variety of different shades green and blue depending on the time of day you visit... You can choose to bathe in the lagoon, snorkel, or take a raft tour. There is a natural spring bathe that is off to the backside of the lagoon in which you can wade in because its about 2ft deep. The lagoon features different water temperatures, ranging from cold to warm and is 180 feet deep in the center.... There is a beach cafe with music, libation, and food to make your visit to blue lagoon LITTTTTT

3rd Beach is my Fave Winnifred Beach
Popular with locals, Winnifred Beach is the epitome of tropical beach, with its soft white sand, aquamarine water, and big beautiful trees for shading. The ambiance is how you would feel at your local beach at home, people playing music, food and drink vendors.. ITS A VIBE MAN!!!!
this is a short cut to and from the beach... If you're interested in a lil exercise.

Well actually 4 beaches i visited Boston Bay Beach
This is a popular beach for surfers and Reggae music lovers and if you're feeling adventurous you can also get surf lessons from excellent surf coaches for a very good price
